  • americans that obsess over skins.
  • americans that say ‘mum’.
  • the yorkshire dialect.
  • when i find a new artist and i search for their other work and find the rest of their songs suck.
  • the word ‘cunt’. i don’t find it’s connotations offensive, i just don’t like how harsh it sounds.
  • the amount of calories in coke.
  • hearing ‘fireflies’ every single day at college now.

I’m not exactly a very “go America we rock” American, but it’s a bit irritating when British people think we’re all about copying them because we think they’re accents are cool or something.

So I’m going to have to point out that we actually do say “mum”. Not like we’re imitating English people, but if you’re from the northeast than it’s sort of just the way you sound.

i have to interject, here: we don’t say “mum!” no no! and i dont want to. THAT irritates me, englishmen! and wtf is skins? its like degrassi version 2.0. THE CANADIANS did it first for gods sake!

i never sit around and think about how annoying every other country is…. really. its a bit racist if you actually think about it. jesus. america isnt that bad (compared to the rest of the world) but yes, haters are just that cynical.

^ i took this and ran far far away.

I’m totally offended about the whole Skins thing. What, since I live somewhere else, I can’t enjoy quality soap opera TV??? I didn’t even know it was a big deal in Europe…I just happened to be watching BBC America really late at night… :’(
